Vintage Schwinn Le Tour mixte frameset. Mid 1970s manufacture, built in Japan by Panasonic. Rare coveted "Large" size. Seat tube measures 54cm c-t-c, and 56cm c-t-t. Effective top tube length, measured center of seat lug to center of head tube, is 55cm. Originally spec'ed with 27" wheels, this will fit 27 or 700C, with substantial tire clearance. A terrific and versatile frameset in spectacular shape. Classic Schwinn red and white colorway. Includes everything pictured, you'll need to supply a wheelset, seatpost, saddle, chain and pedals. Everything else is here, and in excellent condition. All original parts throughout. The generator/light pictured is NOT included. Vintage used condition with very minor cosmetic wear. Excellent condition overall. Pretty much as clean as you find a nearly 50 year old bike! No dents, "dings", cracks, crash damage, or otherwise. A very nice bike.
